Midnight sun shine

 

In Lapland, the midnight sun shines from early June to early July. Warm periods, when temperatures reach 25 degrees, usually occur between mid-June and mid-August. With 24 hours of daylight, there is plenty of time for activities.

This time of year involves a faster dojo transition, moving from element ‘earth’ into element ‘fire.’ As you interact with your coaching partner dogs, take long walks, and engage in meditation and mindfulness exercises, you will learn how to preserve the fire within you.

When your heart energy/fire energy is healthy, you are emotionally balanced, open and honest, loving, mentally clear and able to express yourself clearly. We will help you practice being in touch with your environment in the forest as well as on a small fishing boat on the inland sea. To enhance your enjoyment of life, you will also have time to practice intuitive bow shooting and cooking together at the fire. Our sauna and hot tub experience in the midnight sun, along with treatments of Shamanic drum sounds with acupuncture all serve to connect you more fully to yourself and your surroundings.
