Snowfall.

First snowfall signals that

winter is coming

In October, the night temperatures drop below zero. Sometimes this happens early as frost bathes the morning in glistening white. We all wait eagerly for the first snowfall so that we can enjoy the snow while in the sauna and hot tub.

This first snow melts away fairly quickly, only to return permanently within a few weeks, usually by the end of November.

This is dojo time once again, a time of transition when nature pauses for a moment, reflects on itself and takes a moment to care for itself. During this time, it’s important to treat yourself to nature meditations that have substance and depth. You will be able let go of your ‘old skin’ and find your ‘center’ through the vibrations of Shamanic drum and acupuncture sessions. You will also enjoy the warmth of a campfire in cool evenings and cook local food as we all nourish the element ‘earth.’

Qi-Gong and mindfulness exercises will help you center and ‘gather’ your thoughts. The sauna and hot tub will help you feel better than ever before, especially if they are accompanied by snow and the northern lights. In the cozy tepee, you will fill the stove with self-chopped wood and contentedly recline on a reindeer skin as you watch the different sky patterns through the skylight.

You will also spend a lot of time with our coaching partners, the Laikas, whose leadership style will be tested again and again, whether it’s during grooming or during our daily training on the quad. It’s important for you to keep working on your intuition and self-reflection, as you practice with our furry coaches. Usual temperatures : -5°C to 5°C
